The Rice Harvester, Also Known As The Combine Harvester

The grain combine harvester, commonly referred to as a combine harvester, is a combined machine designed for harvesting crops. Originally known as a "corn combine" in the early 1950s, it is a harvesting machine capable of completing the processes of harvesting, threshing, separating stalks, and removing impurities from cereal crops in one operation, directly obtaining grain from the field.
Before the advent of the combine harvester, threshing machines and mechanical harvesters significantly boosted agricultural productivity in the 19th century. This made it possible to harvest more grain with fewer workers than before. However, an invention in the late 19th century further enhanced this efficiency. The combine harvester integrated harvesting and threshing into a single unit, allowing farmers to complete both harvesting and threshing with a single operation. This saved manpower and material resources, greatly reducing the burden on farmers.
