Maintaining cleanliness during daily operation is the foundation of seedling machine maintenance. After each use, promptly remove any residual growing medium, soil, and seed debris from the equipment-paying special attention to components such as seeding needles, conveyor belts, and discharge outlets-to prevent blockages or inaccuracies in future seeding operations. Additionally, the water tank and spraying system require regular cleaning to ensure that limescale or impurities do not compromise spraying performance.
Regular inspections of the drive system, chains, bearings, and motor are essential to check for looseness, abnormal noises, or signs of wear. Apply lubricant or grease to designated points as specified to minimize friction and ensure smooth operation. Wear-prone parts, such as seeding needles and rubber pads, should be replaced in a timely manner based on usage frequency to avoid compromising seedling quality.
Periodically inspect electrical wiring for signs of aging, check connections for looseness, and verify that the control panel is functioning correctly to prevent equipment downtime caused by electrical faults. When the machine is not in use for extended periods, take measures to protect it from dust and moisture, and store it in a dry, well-ventilated environment to extend its overall service life.
